Breaking Though Global Boundaries : Financing Options for Exporting

On Thursday, January 16th, Black Tech Link will host an informative workshop for small businesses interested in learning how to gain capital to support their export ventures. As a continuation of our export training series, Breaking Through Global Boundaries, in this workshop, participants will explore various export financing options, including resources such as banks, lenders, and government programs. Participants will learn about trade finance instruments like letters of credit and export credit risk insurance to support their international transactions. We’ll cover effective pricing strategies for international markets, managing currency exchange rates, and the different payment methods and terms to ensure smooth financial operations. We will also share insight on funding and financing opportunities offered by the California State Trade Expansion Program (STEP), the Small Business Administration, and the Ex-Im Bank. By the end of this workshop, participants will be equipped with the financial knowledge and strategies needed to successfully manage their export business. This workshop will take place via Zoom from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm PT.
